Do you remember this?

Did your mother ever make you a deviled ham sandwich?

How does a company get away with making Beelzebub it’s brand logo? And here, they’ve got him tucked among the holly and pine boughs like some cross between Baby Jesus and Regan MacNeil, a satanic creche tableaux.

They still make this stuff. I’m going to get me some for lunch this weekend, and try one of those recipes out. Mmmm, savory.

I love the way they wrap the plain old boring can in paper, like it was a gift, like it was a luxury bauble. All it needs is a tiny bow and a gift card. “To: You. From: Hell. Bon apetit!”
